GRAY Awards supports The BLOCK Project, an initiative by Seattle-based non-profit Facing Homelessness, that place tiny homes in the backyards of single-family lots to help build community for individuals afflicted with homelessness. Each is home is an off-grid, self-sufficient, and amenity-rich dwelling. “By saying, ‘Yes, in my backyard,’ The BLOCK Project nurtures the empathy needed to catalyze a global movement.” Learn more on their site.
