GRAY Loves: Cedar & Moss and Esque Studio Lighting Collab

FINDING WAYS TO INCORPORATE BOLD COLOR INTO A SPACE CAN SOMETIMES BE A CHALLENGE. But this lighting collaboration from two Portland design luminaries, lighting and hardware design company Cedar & Moss, and glassblowing biz Esque Studio, aims to make any hue-related guesswork a bit easier.

The collab features Cedar & Moss designer Michelle Arro’s collection of mid-century sconces, pendants, and chandeliers reissued with the colorful, hand-blown glass globes from Esque’s Andi Kovel and Justin Parker. “The concept is pretty simple. We recolored [Arro’s] globes to play off of the different fixture finishes,” Kovel says. “This allows clients to mix and match them to create unique color combinations that reflect their individual taste and lifestyle goals. We set out to make a custom design experience accessible to all.”

Expect C&M’s array of classic fixtures paired with glass in striking shades such as aubergine, mint, lavender, apricot, and champagne.
