Coming to the Angelika Film Center: MAU, a Compelling Documentary on Design’s Impact

On May 13th, MAU, a new feature-length documentary about design powerhouse Bruce Mau, will come to New York City’s Angelika Film Center. Written and directed by Benji and Jono Bergmann, the film explores Mau’s unlikely creative journey and ever-optimistic push to tackle the world’s biggest problems with design. It features revealing conversations with design luminaries including MoMA Curator, Paola Antonelli, starchitects, Bjarke Ingels, and Rem Koolhaas, and with his wife and co-founder of Massive Change Network, Bisi Williams. The film will be accessible to all New Yorkers, providing insight into the impact of design. For Bruce Mau, "everything is design and design is everything. And even more importantly, everyone is a designer".

The 7:30 p.m. showing on May 13 will be followed by a talk led by Bjarke Ingels with Bruce Mau, Bisi Williams, Jono and Benji Bergman.
