Crafted Vancouver Various Vancouver locations Celebrate contemporary and traditional craft disciplines during this 25-day festival, in which multiple events around the city feature a selection of local, national, and international makers. Textile Hive Tour 133 SW 2nd Ave., Suite 430, Portland

Peruse the digitized database of 40,000 textiles from famed collector and textile designer Andrea Aranow, whose treasure trove represents more than 50 countries and 200 years of design history. Expect an education on the collection’s past, as well as its organization and classification systems. (May 4, 1 p.m.; $20)

2019 Northwest Green Home Tour Various Puget Sound region locations

This self-guided two-day tour explores homes, kitchens, and backyard cottages that have been built with environmentally-conscious features, such as solar panels and other sustainable building materials. (May 4–5, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; $10 suggested donation)

Seattle’s Overlooked Art Tour 400 Occidental Ave. S; Seattle

See sewer drains, hatch covers, pit lids, and other pieces of street metal in a new light. This hour-long tour takes to the city’s streets in Pioneer Square to examine these often disregarded public art works that, since the 1970s, have been commissioned by the city for local utility companies. (May 4, 11 a.m. to 12:30 pm; $13)
