ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, SEATTLE’S UNIVERSITY VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER ADDED ANOTHER HOME DECOR STORE TO ITS ROSTER. CB2, the more modern offshoot to the Northbrook, Illinois-based furniture retailer Crate & Barrel, opened a new shop in the space that formerly housed the Land of Nod (also a C&B brand which has since morphed into an online-only collection). CB2’s Seattle location is its first in Washington state and the 16th shop in the US.
“Seattle has always been a priority market for us, and it only made sense for CB2 to open in such a premier mall and choice location in the area,” CB2 President Ryan Turf told GRAY. “We make a point to host exciting and location-specific programming in each of our stores, so we look forward to kicking that off.”
