Don’t miss German artist Franz Erhard Walther’s first major American exhibition, "The Body Draws," up now at Seattle’s Henry Art Gallery. Featuring work from 1957 to the present, the exhibition compiles nearly 300 pieces of sculpture, drawings, archival documents, and film illuminating the significance of drawing. From Walther’s early works on paper to his later work including interactive canvas sculptures, the collection of pivotal work takes a deeper look at the artist’s relationship with drawing in the context of his robust career. "The Body Draws" runs through March 6. Below are a selection of images from the exhibit, taken at Henry Art Gallery's 2015 Fall Open House.
